An elevator operation controller capable of previously landing an elevator car on a predetermined floor by giving an instruction to the elevator without using any specific key or portable terminal. The operation controller (10) comprises a reception section (11) which receives the speech of an elevator user through a public line and has a unique telephone number, a speech recognition section (12) which recognizes the speech of the elevator user received by the reception section (11), an instruction processing section (13) which converts the instruction of the elevator user speech-recognized by the speech recognition section (12) into an elevator operation signal, and an operation control section (14) which controls the operation of the elevator according to the operation signal acquired from the instruction processing section (13). ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
