An apparatus for controlling a low power of induction heating cooker is provided to prevent an erroneous operation of a CT(Current Transformer) voltage detection unit caused by a low output in case that only a low power heating coil is operated. An apparatus for controlling a low power of induction heating cooker includes a CT voltage detection unit(120), a low power control unit(200), and a microprocessor(140). The CT voltage detection unit(120) detects a change of a current inputted through commercial power from a CT, and converts the change of the detected input current into a voltage. The CT voltage detection unit(120) outputs the converted voltage to a high power inverter circuit unit and a low power inverter circuit unit. The low power control unit(200) sinks the voltage outputted from the CT voltage detection unit(120), and outputs a compensation voltage for the low power inverter circuit unit from the outside to the low power inverter circuit. The microprocessor(140) outputs an oscillation signal of the high and low power inverter circuit units. The microprocessor(140) outputs an on/off operation control signal of the low power control unit in case that the oscillation signal of the low power inverter circuit unit is outputted. |
