#CMT# #/CMT# The mechanism has a rotary support (30) supporting, in axial rotation, middle and outlet sprockets (50, 60), and a fixed sprocket (40) coaxially positioned with respect to a primary axle (20). An actuating arm (80) has an end (81) integrated with a secondary axle (70) and another end (82) fixedly coupled, by a fixation point (83), with a detachable part displaced along an elliptical sweeping movement. A ratio between a distance separating the secondary axle and the point and a center distance separating the axles is comprised between 0.98 and 1.18. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a wiping device implanted at a lower part of a rear window and a front windscreen of a motor vehicle (claimed) e.g. car. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The ratio between the distance separating the secondary axle and the fixation point and the center distance separating the axles ensures a displacement of the fixation point in a straight line when the actuating arm is activated, so that the arrangement of the mechanism at the interior of the vehicle requires only a simple cutting, such as a slit, in the form of a line segment, thus reducing a support surface required by the cutting, and hence ensuring an easy integration of the mechanism in the motor vehicle body.
