A transmission type plasma display panel is provided to increase application efficiency of visible rays by preventing transmission of the visible rays reflected from a lower panel substrate using a white dielectric layer. A plasma display panel includes a first panel substrate(100) and a second panel substrate(200) which are arranged opposite to each other, and partitions(300) maintaining a space between the first and second panel substrates. A white dielectric layer(150) is formed on a bottom of the first panel substrate. A transparent dielectric layer is formed on an upper layer of an electrode of the second panel substrate. A white phosphor(240) is formed on the partitions of the second panel substrate. Visible ray transmitting the second panel substrate passes through a filter.
