A method for transmitting a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signal through an MMS is provided to allow a mobile terminal having a DMB function to record a particular portion of a DMB while watching a DMB and transmit it to a desired person through an MMS. It is checked whether a user starts to watch a DMB in a mobile terminal(S201). When the user starts DMB watching, the mobile terminal is connected with the DMB(S202) and DMB signals are outputted to the mobile terminal(S203). It is checked whether the user presses a record button to start recording(S204). When the user presses the record button, DMB signals are recorded(S205). It is checked whether the user presses a record end button to finish recording(S206). When the user presses the record end button, the mobile terminal inquires the user whether to store the recorded video(S207). When the user selects storing of the recorded video, the recorded video is stored in a memory of the mobile terminal(S208). The mobile terminal inquires the user whether to transmit the stored video through an MMS(S209). When the user selects MMS transmission to a designated address, the stored video is added to a multimedia message and transmitted to the designated address(S210). It is checked whether the user presses a DMB watch end button to finish DMB watching(S211). When the user finishes the DMB watching, the DMB connection is terminated(S212).
