A drum-type washing machine is provided to prevent a striking phenomenon between a drum and a tub and reduce noises caused by unbalance in the drum by installing a ball bearing unit between the tub and the drum and maintaining a distance therebetween. A drum-type washing machine comprises a tub(160); a drum(140) placed the inner tub; a ball bearing(420) and a bearing housing(410) covering the ball bearing; and a ball bearing unit(400) located between the tub and the drum to maintain the distance of the tub and the drum. The ball bearing unit is composed of the rubber material, formed with rubber mount on which the bearing housing is placed. The ball bearing is separated at predetermined distance from the tub or the surface of the drum. Plural ball bearing units are installed on the tub, and the ball bearing units are separated at predetermined distance from each other.
