A method of effectively producing micro-sized spherical silicone particles that have high roundness, are very small and have reproducibility is provided. A method of producing spherical silicone fine particles comprises: a step(A) of hydrolyzing a silane compound of a formula 1, R^1Si(X)3, under an acidic condition to obtain a water-soluble or alcohol solution, wherein R^1 is a monovalent group selected from the group consisting of substituted or non-substituted alkyl group, alkenyl group and phenyl group, and X are same or different groups capable of being hydrolyzed ; a step(B) of adding an aqueous alkaline solution to the water-soluble or alcohol solution, and irradiating ultrasonic waves into the solutions to mix the solutions; and a step(C) of performing the polycondensation of the mixed solution in the steady state without agitation to form spherical silicon fine particles. |
