A compliant connector and an emergency core cooling system for a reactor are provided to prevent large-sized particles from passing through a connection joint and block generation of load conference between modules. A pair of vibrating modules include first and second modules(46,50). The first module includes a vibrating path and an outlet hole(48). The second module includes an inlet hole(52) which is apart from the outlet hole. A coupler(54) is arranged between the outlet and inlet holes. The coupler includes an inlet hole(60) which is adjacent to the outlet hole of the first module, and an outlet hole(62) which is adjacent to the inlet hole of the second module. A first gutter spring(58) is arranged between the first module outlet hole and the coupler inlet hole. A second gutter spring(58) is arranged between the second module inlet hole and the coupler outlet hole. The spring prevents large-sized particles from passing between the coupler and the module. |
