A method for providing an improved user interface during call communication in a mobile terminal is provided to solve a problem that a user should instruct a desired supplementary function through a menu or use a method for pressing a particular number string defined by a mobile communication provider. When a mobile terminal performs call communication with the other party, a speaker object is displayed(S200). A speaker object selected by a user and one or more call control objects according to a call connection state are displayed(S210). A call connection corresponding to the selected call control object is processed(S220).
