<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage managing device for easily and centrally managing information for stored articles and their storage sites in package while efficiently seeking the storage sites of the stored articles in a short time when it is necessary to pick the stored articles out. <P>SOLUTION: When an input specifying means 3 specifies the stored article and its storage site and inputs a registration order, a registration control means 4 responds thereto to register both information in conformation to the predetermined region of a storage means 2. Thus, information for the stored article and its storage site is centrally managed in package. When it is necessary to seek the site of the stored article, by making the input specifying means 3 specify the stored article and its storage site and inputting a retrieval order, a retrieving means 5 responds thereto to retrieve a series of corresponding storage information and a display means 6 displays its retrieval result.
