PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light deflector which prevents inertia from growing larger than necessary, shortens start-up time of a printer or the like, and reduces stationary currents. SOLUTION: Annular notches 60 and 62 are provided at corners on the outer circumferential sides of the top surface 58A and bottom surface 58B of a rotating sleeve 58, and a balance weight 44 for correcting the dynamic imbalance of a rotating body 32 is provided between the notch 60 and the inner circumferential surface 64A of a fixing member 64. By this, it is not necessary to form a specific groove for providing the balance weight 44 or the like in the fixing member 30. Then, the radius of the fixing member 30 is not required to be large since the groove is formed. Accordingly, the inertia does not grow larger than necessary, and the start-up time of a laser printer is shortened and stationary currents are reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
