PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guitar in hollow structure which is improved in operability without impairing sound effect. SOLUTION: The guitar 1 has a hollow structure body comprising a rib, a sounding board 4 having a sound hole 11, and a back plate, a neck part 14 projecting from the body 2, and strings 12 extended over the sound hole 11 from the neck part 14 to a bridge base 13. Further, a portion of the body 2 which comes into contact with an arm 16 of a player when the player plucks the strings 12 over the sound hole 11 with the hand has a curved surface 3 which is smoothly curved from the sounding board 4 to the flank plate, and connection parts of the respective members of the body 2 are provided with internal wood bonded from inside and external wood 7 bonded from outside, the curved surface 3 being formed of the external wood 7.
