PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam temperature reducing device causing no temperature unevenness in temperature-reduced steam by mixing high temperature steam and a cooling fluid wholly and uniformly. SOLUTION: A heat exchange part 3 and a cooling fluid supply part 2 are sequentially connected to a high temperature steam supply pipe 1. A cooling fluid pipe 6 is connected to the cooling fluid supply part 2. A heat exchange chamber 7 of the heat exchange part 3 is connected to the cooling fluid supply part 2. The cooling fluid supply part 2 is connected to a mixing accelerating passage 13, a gas-liquid separator 8 and a temperature-reduced steam supply pipe 9 in this order. A heat exchange coil 10 in the heat exchange chamber 7 communicates with a circulating pump 11 through a passage 12. The high temperature steam supplied from the high temperature steam supply pipe 1 is mixed with the cooling fluid raised in temperature in the cooling fluid supply part 2, and reduced to a predetermined temperature without temperature unevenness.
