PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric resistance welding machine which can perform both direct spot welding and one side welding such as series spot welding and indirect spot welding. SOLUTION: The electric resistance welding machine 10 is equipped with a pair of welding electrodes 11, 12 and a moving mechanism 13 to relatively move the pair of welding electrodes 11, 12 to a position where their electrode faces 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b are arranged so as to face each other, or a position where those are arranged side by side in a line.
