<p>The invention relates to a method for operating a management network with an agent (OMC1), a first manager (NMC1) and with a second manager (NMC2). The agent (OMC1) sends event reports (NOTIFY EVENT) to the first manager (NMC1) according to the subscription(s) of the first manager (NMC1). In the event of a disruption in communication between the agent (OMC1) and the first manager (NMC1) or a failure of the first manager (NMC1), the agent (OMC1) sends a first message (notifySubscriptionDisabled) with information concerning the subscription(s) of the first manager (NMC1) to the second manager (NMC2). Lastly, the agent (OMC1) sends event reports (NOTIFY EVENT) to the second manager (NMC2) according to the subscription(s) of the first manager (NMC1). The invention also relates to an agent (OMC1) and to a manager (NMC2) for a management network for carrying out the method.</p> |
