ILLUMINATION IN THE AREA OF AIRCRAFT CABINS

The hatrack (2) has a handrail recess (5) formed in the hatrack and an illumination strip (1) with a multitude of illumination units (6) e.g. RGB light emitting diode, accommodated by a carrier module (3). The recess (5) forms a handrail (4) in a single piece with the hatrack. The module is strip shaped with a positive-locking unit (7) for illuminating the recess exchangeably fitted into the handrail so that a positive fit is established. A recess (10) in the handrail is designed to accommodate the strip in a positive-locking manner so that the recess is illuminated by the strip.
