<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide corrosionproof wire rope ensured not to undergo water infiltration over a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The corrosionproof wire rope comprises a core material 36 composed of steel wire bundles 42, a covering layer 38 around the outer circumference of the core material 36, and a water-blocking layer 52 between the core material 36 and the covering layer 38, wherein the core material 36 is provided with a sacrificial anode 45, the water-blocking layer 52 is made of lead, and the sacrificial anode 45 is constituted of many metallic wires 45a made of pure metallic zinc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
