METHOD FOR SETTING EXPOSURE CONDITION FOR PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING ORIGINAL PLATE, PLATEMAKING METHOD AND PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting exposure conditions that facilitate appropriate exposure adjustment on an on-press development type planographic printing original plate.

SOLUTION: The method for setting exposure conditions for a planographic printing plate having an image recording layer on a supporting body and facilitating on-press development by supplying a print ink and/or dampening water, is characterized in that the exposure conditions are set by evaluating an image on a planographic printing plate obtained by exposure and on-press development of the planographic printing original plate. It is preferable to evaluate reproducibility of an image of thin lines and/or dots and to carry out on-press development at least 10 minutes after the exposure.
