<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for small equipment such as portable equipment which is capable of efficiently supplying more air to an oxygen electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a cell body having an electrolyte membrane between a fuel electrode and an oxygen electrode, an air supplying chamber arranged on the oxygen electrode side of the cell body, an ejector to supply air to the air supply chamber, and an air supplying means to supply the air to the ejector.
