<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing print defects due to the shortage of conveyance force of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is configured so that a recording paper 10 is sent out from a medium storage section 11 by a paper feed roller 14 and further, conveyed by a resist roller 24, then the leading edge portion of the recording paper 10 reaches the press-contact of a photosensitive drum 35 and a transfer roller 40, to be nipped and the drive of the paper feed roller is stopped in a stage where the leading edge portion of the recording paper 10 is further conveyed from the central position of a nip portion by a predetermined amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
