<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system for a hybrid vehicle having minimized overall height and capable of reducing manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: In this power system for the hybrid vehicle, a first planetary gear set and a generator are disposed on a first input shaft receiving rotating power of an engine, and a motor is disposed on an axis parallel with the first input shaft. An output from the first planetary gear set is decelerated by a second planetary gear set on a counter shaft and is then transmitted to a driving wheel via a differential. Moreover, to transmit the rotating power of the motor as an output element of the first planetary gear set, a second input shaft connected with the output element of the first planetary gear set is disposed coaxially with the first input shaft and is connected by a predetermined electric means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
