摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery mounting structure for an automobile capable of introducing external air from a cowl part to a battery by the shortest route by arranging the battery just behind the dash part and providing a communication duct for connecting the battery and the cowl part such that air can be circulated and thereby capable of achieving compatibility of narrowing a layout space and reducing pressure loss by outstandingly shortening the communication duct. SOLUTION: In the battery mounting structure for the automobile in which the battery 30 for driving the vehicle is arranged at a front part in a cabin 2, the front part of the cabin 2 includes a dash part 3 for partitioning the cabin 2 and an engine room 1 at its front part; and a cowl part 12 arranged on an upper end of the dash part 3 and having a cross section 12A communicated with external air. The battery 30 is arranged just behind of the dash part 3 and is provided with a communication duct 58 for connecting the battery 30 and the cowl part 12 such that air can be circulated.
