PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data broadcasting receiver for solving the problem that it takes time to display a transition screen when the transition of a screen to be displayed occurs during reception of a data broadcasting program. SOLUTION: Data broadcasting channels, components constituting data broadcasting programs, and viewing frequencies of the components during past reception of data broadcasting programs are stored as viewing histories, and the viewing histories are referred to on reception of a data broadcasting program, and corresponding components of the data broadcasting program to be received are preferentially acquired in the order of viewing frequencies of the components stored in a viewing history having a combination coinciding with a combination of channels and composition of components of the data broadcasting program to be received when this viewing history exists, whereby the time of screen transition to components considered to be much selected by a viewer is shortened.
