PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projection device in which a lamp 22 being a light source is attachably/detachably housed, and where the lamp is smoothly replaced without spoiling the good outside appearance of the device. SOLUTION: The video projection device is equipped with: a top board 6 constituting the upper surface part of the external case of a device main body 2; opening/closing means 7 and 11 sliding the top board 6 relative to the device main body 2 so as to open/close; and lock mechanisms 17 and 18 locking the top board 6 in such a state that the top board 6 is closed. The housing part 19 of the lamp 22 is exposed in such a state that the top board 6 is slid to open, whereby the lamp 22 is replaced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
