PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of efficiently performing precharge of data lines. SOLUTION: A switch 230 for connecting data lines extended every array in the vertical scanning direction of pixels matrically arrayed with each other is disposed. Then, the switch 230 is connected before an analog video signal is set to the data lines DL. Thereby, voltages among the data lines become even and the precharge is performed. Particularly, when a drive of dot inversion driving method is performed, opposite voltages bordered by a reference voltage of the analog video signal are often set between the neighboring data lines and, therefore, the suitable precharge is performed by connecting the neighboring data lines DL.
