PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently restart the carriage of a carried material when turning on once again a cut-off power supply to a carrying system using a roller conveyor including a turn table. SOLUTION: A rotational position detecting mechanism 2 composed of a dog detecting sensor 3, an auxiliary dog detecting sensor 4 and a dog 5 detects the rotational position of the turn table 6, and a photosensor 26 checks the existence of a carrier 23 on a roller supporting frame 42 (S1, 2). When the carrier 23 exists on the roller supporting frame 42, the photosensor 26 checks the carrier 23 if it is at a predetermined stop position (S3, 4). When the carrier 23 is not at the predetermined stop position, the carrier is withdrawn (S4, 5). Then, the turn table 6 is checked if it is at a predetermined stop position (S6). When the turn table 6 is not at the predetermined stop position, it is set at a normal position (S7) and then rotated to a target position and the power supply is turned on once again to the carrying system 1 (S8, 9).
