PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die bush for a press die, which die bush can prevent the jamming of dregs produced in punching a workpiece by a punch. SOLUTION: The die bush for the press die has a shank portion 2 formed so as to have a cylindrical shape, a flange 3 at the lower end of the shank portion 2, a cutting edge 7 formed by the edge of the upper end face 4 of the shank portion 2, and a hole composed of an equi-diametric portion 8 formed from the cutting edge 7 so as to have the same diameter as that of the edge of the flange 3 and a tapered portion 9 formed from the lower end of the equi-diametric portion 8 toward the lower end face 5 of the flange 3 so as to enlarge its diameter. Grooves 10, 11 to be communicated with the hole 6 of the shank portion 2 are provided on arbitrary position of the external portion of the shank portion 2 from the upper end face 4 of the shank portion 2 and from the lower end face 5 of the flange 3 respectively. When the suction is carried out toward the falling direction of the dregs produced in punching the workpiece by the punch, sufficient air flow can be secured by flowing air into the hole 6 through the grooves 10, 11.
