The device for pressing a curved printing form onto a form cylinder by opening up onto the form cylinder of an offset printer which uses an attachment or release device of the offset cylinder opposite a form cylinder and a parallel pressure cylinder, the latter having a channel on which the cover is arranged. The pressure cylinder has a gripper for plates which engages in the channel.
