The rawlplug has a drill (4) provided at a front side of the plug and spiral shaped grooving (5), which are running around the drill. The plug has a diameter, which is larger, same or smaller than that of the hole in the component. The grooving has a pitch selected such that a part of helical surface (8) of the plug is broader. A chamfer (6) is provided at the front side of the plug for insertion of the plug into a hole in a component. An independent claim is also included for a drilling machining insert for screwing a wooden rawlplug.
