<p>A protection device for a flat tire of vehicle or aircraft comprises a wheel axle 1 and a wheel (2) mounted on the end of the axle. It is characterized that an auxiliary wheel (3) is provided besides the wheel. The distance h between the edge of the auxiliary wheel and the center of the axle is larger than the inside radius r1 of the tire (4), and smaller than or equal to the outside radius r2 of the tire (4). This protection device can keep the vehicle running with the added auxiliary wheel when the tire is damaged or deflated, thus it can prevent the vehicle overturning and avoid a traffic accident. It has a novel and reasonable design and can be used in various fields.</p> |
