PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning unit capable of performing defrosting operation while continuing heating operation and improving comfortableness by minimizing change in outlet temperature. SOLUTION: This air conditioning unit comprises a first bypass circuit 6 connecting a part between an indoor heat exchanger 3 and a decompressor 4 of a heat pump refrigeration cycle to the suction side of a compressor 1, the first bypass circuit 6 including a two-way valve 7 and a refrigerant heater 8; and a second bypass circuit 9 connecting a four-way valve 2 connecting a part between the refrigeration cycle and the indoor heat exchanger 3 to a part between the decompressor 4 and an outdoor heat exchanger 5, the second bypass circuit 9 including a two-way valve 10, and the indoor heat exchanger 3 including an indoor piping temperature sensor 19. The unit further comprises an indoor blower 17 and an outdoor blower 21. When defrosting of the outdoor heat exchanger 5 is performed, the rotating speed of the indoor blower 17 is reduced by indoor piping temperature control before the start of defrosting, and heating and defrosting operation are then performed.
