PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic transmission apparatus, capable of determining a coming direction of sound collected by two sound collecting means and transmitting the sound. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises; two sound collecting means having directivity, capable of collecting an acoustic signal; a coming direction determining means for determining the coming direction of the acoustic signal at least in four directions of nearly the front, back, right and left of a person, from magnitude relation of arrival phase difference and/or arrival level difference of each collected sound signal collected by each sound collecting means; a filter means for determining whether a predetermined acoustic signal is included in each collected signal which is collected by each sound collecting means; and an indicating means for indicating the coming direction of the acoustic signal which is determined by the coming direction determining means to the person, when it is determined by the filter means that a predetermined acoustic signal is included at least in any of the collected means. Directions of directivity of the sound collecting means are a nearly oblique left rear direction and a nearly oblique right rear direction of the person, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
