<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability; by facilitating registration of shortcuts for allowing a user to select operation items executed frequently by each user with fewer operations, in a menu for setting image quality and sound quality in a television. <P>SOLUTION: Operation input of operating procedures from the highest hierarchy to a low-order side hierarchy is received from a remote control 60 as operating procedures of the shortcuts, corresponding to selection input of hierarchized operation items. Information, showing the operating procedures receiving the operation input, is stored in an EEPROM 12. A list of the shortcuts, made to correspond to the operating procedures of a plurality of the shortcuts, is displayed on a screen, and the lowest-order operation item in the operating procedures of the shortcuts is displayed in a list of the shortcuts, on the basis of the information showing the operating procedures for a plurality of the shortcuts stored in the EEPROM 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
