PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transmission of erroneous information or spoofing by a third person in advance by enabling the identification of the transmission source of the information transmitted by FAX. SOLUTION: A FAX evidence system server 11 includes an exchange corresponding to a caller's telephone number notifying service, a FAX modem 13 and a FAX communication program 15 for executing FAX communication via a public telephone line network 30, and a management program 14 for associating the received FAX data and information of FAX reception date/time with the caller's number to manage them.
