PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus wherein protection of connector terminal parts established for a housing can be attained by an inexpensive method. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus including: an on-shoulder pad fixed to a bottom part of the imaging apparatus; and connector terminals provided to a side face of the imaging apparatus nearly in parallel with an optical axis direction of the imaging apparatus and disposed in the vicinity of the on-shoulder pad, wherein tips of the connector terminals are projected more than the side face of the imaging apparatus, a position of a connector guard part integrally configured with the on-shoulder pad is projected more than the position of the tips of the connector terminals.
