PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated by colliding of a chucking plate with a cover when a cover being accidentally opened during rotation of a disk recording medium. SOLUTION: A disk player is provided with; an apparatus main part 3 comprising a disk mounting section 4 in which a disk rotation drive mechanism 11 which carries out rotation driving of a disk recording medium 2 is provided; a cover 5 which is rotatably attached to the apparatus main part 3 and opens or blocks up the disk mounting section 4; a chucking plate 13 which holds the disk recording medium 2 between a turntable 12; and a support member 14 which supports the chucking plate 13.
