PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device such that even when two optical disks are inserted into the optical disk device one over the other, the optical disks can be taken out without damaging the optical disks nor the optical disk device. SOLUTION: When the two optical disks 12 are forcibly pushed in one over the other, a fixed guide part 41 cooperates with a thickness restriction member 43 to prevent the two optical disks 12 from being inserted one over the other. When the two stacked optical disks 12 are drawn out, the thickness restriction member 43 turns in a drawing-out direction, so the two stacked optical disks 12 can easily be taken out without damaging the optical disks 12 nor the optical disk device 10.
