PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the portability of applications on different platforms by improving portability including not only a GUI but also the performance of the applications while managing the high level performance of the applications such as state transition control because it cannot be said the applications are ported by porting only the GUI for actual applications especially for multimedia applications when porting the applications to the different platforms. SOLUTION: A system control part 11 executes a reproduction application 81 for controlling system operation. An application control part 61 comprises a state definition module 92, an interface module 93, and an interface system 94 for making the applications 91 independent from a machine type and a system. The state definition module 92 is mounted with the common part of the applications 91 independent from the type and the system, and defines an interface including events which are generated between the applications 91 and the system, and errors. The interface module 93 defines the interface between the state definition of the applications and the state definition of the system defined by the state definition module 92, and absorbs the difference between the applications and the platform.
