PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having excellent effect for the prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis. SOLUTION: The composition comprises chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid and type-II collagen as active components. The chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid and type-II collagen are obtained as a complex extracted from shark cartilage. The composition is formed in the form of a medicinal preparation to enable the administration of chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid and type-II collagen in an amount of 10 mg to 5 g per day in total.
