<p>A DC voltage intermediate circuit (16) is connected at the input (19) to an AC voltage source (1) through a rectifier (7) and at the output (18) to an electrical consumer. The DC voltage intermediate circuit has an Ohm's resistance (4) such that switching ON the DC voltage intermediate circuit generates a voltage drop (Uz). Current from the input is thus sent to the output. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a switching arrangement.</p>
