<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling of a cylindrical tool surely without restricting movement of the cylindrical tool more than required in high position work. <P>SOLUTION: The falling prevention tool comprises a falling prevention ring 31 formed by winding a string-like member 3 on the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical tool 1 tightly at least one turn over the entire circumference and capable of changing between a loose state where the string-like member 3 slides on the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical tool 1 and a tight state where the string-like member 3 adheres to the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical tool 1, and a connection ring 32 concatenated with the falling prevention ring 31 such that an auxiliary rope 4 can be attached removably thereto. When a force intersecting the axial direction of the cylindrical tool 1 is applied to the falling prevention ring 31 through the auxiliary rope 4 and the connection ring 32, the falling prevention ring 31 changes from loose state to tight state thus holding the cylindrical tool 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
