AERATION AND AGITATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aeration and agitation device capable of finely adjusting an aeration-air flow rate.

SOLUTION: The aeration and agitation device which generates an agitated water flow by the rotation of a screw 2 disposed on the tip end of a hollow shaft 1 and aerates water with air via the hollow shaft 1 drawn by a negative pressure generated by the agitated water flow comprises an air discharge fan 5 coaxially disposed in an air intake port 3 from which air flows into the hollow rotary shaft 1 for generating a counter air flow in a direction opposite to the aeration-air flow direction 4, the rate of which is adjusted for the purpose of adjusting the aeration-air flow rate.
