PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in relation to the diagnosis of coagulation, and to measure the activity of heparin in a sample. SOLUTION: In this method for measuring the activity of heparin in the sample, the sample is first incubated, along with a heparin modifying component and the deactivation of the Xa-th factor dependence on heparin is measured.
