<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purifying catalyst capable of maintaining a high catalyst activity even if used under high-temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas purifying catalyst comprises a complex particle 4 of a noble metal particle 2 and a transition metal particle 3 disposed in contact with each other, an aggregation suppressing layer 5 coating the periphery of the complex particle 4 and formed of an oxide, and a carrier 6 coating the periphery of the aggregation suppressing layer 5 and formed of an oxide different from that of the aggregation suppressing layer 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
