<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data from being utilized by others even when a device for authenticating an individual is lost or when it is forgotten to be drawn out from an apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The authentication system comprises a first authentication device (1) equipped with a section 10 for storing data, and a second authentication device (2) making a pair with the first authentication device (1) wherein the first authentication device (1) has a control section 11 performing a processing for erasing data stored in the storage section 10 when authentication temporarily established between the first and second authentication devices (1, 2) becomes abortive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
