<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and economic transformer capable of coping with various voltage specification and step-up ratio with one bobbin, reducing manufacturing cost, preventing the occurrence of swollen winding for forming miniaturization, and being hard to cause leakage of magnetic flux. <P>SOLUTION: A transformer 1 comprises a bobbin 2 and primary and secondary windings 3a and 3b of flat copper plate. The bobbin 2 comprises a cylindrical winding 21, a flange 22 formed at both ends of the winding 21, and a partition 23 engaged with the winding 21 in lengthwise direction for sliding. The primary winding 3a and the secondary winding 3b are wound on a primary side winding 21a and secondary side winding 21b by specified turns in similar external dimensions to each other, while the partition 23 is set in advance at positions corresponding to their turns and cross section dimension.
