<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baggage storage position detection device capable of rapidly detecting a position and a direction for the storage of a baggage carried by a moving body with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The baggage storage position detection device for detecting the storage position of a baggage 4 carried by a moving body 2 comprises a GPS reception means 5 for receiving GPS radio waves and outputting present position data of the moving body 2 at a predetermined time interval, a present position storage means 11 for storing the present position data of the moving body 2 outputted by the GPS reception means 5, and a coordinate specification means 12 for calculating the moving distance of the moving body 2 from the present position data stored in the present position storage means 11 and specifying the coordinate of the storage position of the baggage 4 carried by the moving body 2 based on the calculated moving distance, and may further comprise a baggage direction specifying means for calculating a locus when the moving body 2 places the carried baggage 4 and moves from the present position data stored in the present position storage means 11, and specifying the direction in which the baggage 4 is placed based on the locus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
