PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cured cast resin that can be used as an insulating material for high voltage equipment and provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Epoxy resin is used as a liquid polymer, an acid anhydride is used as a curing agent, silica is used as a filler, a silane coupling agent is used as a surface treatment agent and a curing-promoting agent is used to cause the thermally curing reaction to form cured products and the cured products are treated with silane coupling at 90 to 150°C.
