摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vector potential propulsion method and its device obtaining propulsive force of high energy efficiency with which almost 100% of energy generated can be converted to propulsive force and technique of which can be widely used in various fields. SOLUTION: The propulsive force generation device comprises arbitrary pairs of magnets 11, 12, 13, 14 ..., in which the magnets of the same poles are opposed and form one pair, and a rotation mechanism for rotating the magnets. The respective pairs of magnets are set in combination so that rotating magnetic fields having the same rotation axis, the same intensity and the same rotation direction are generated and a resultant magnetic field becomes zero. The rotation mechanism is constructed so that a base plate 30 for mounting the magnets is attached to a rotary shaft 20 rotatable in a desired direction and the propulsive force is generated in a resultant vector direction of rotation vectors of the same number as the number of pairs used.
