PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management apparatus for calculating an optimum value of a channel band of a network. SOLUTION: The network management apparatus includes: an actually measured value storage section 11 for storing actually measured value being information associated with an actually measured value of a utilizing state of a local area network; a utility information storage section 12 for storing utility information being information associated with the utility of the local area network; a theoretical value calculation section 13 for calculating a theoretical value associated with the local area network; an optimum value calculation section 14 for calculating an optimum value associated with the channel band of the local area network on the basis of the actually measured information stored in the actually measured value storage section 11 and the theoretical value calculated by the theoretical value calculation section 13; and an output section 15 for outputting the optimum value calculated by the optimum value calculation section 14.
